How to enjoy robatayaki (fireside grilling)

炉端焼きは、有料と無料の方法があります。 <無料炉端焼き> 焼き台が店舗に併設しているので、その店舗で購入した食材のみ焼いて食べることができます。 店舗の方が焼き方を教えてくれるので、初心者にはおすすめです。(対象店舗:鮮魚とみた、まるしげ、新引地商店) <有料炉端焼き> 有料専用の焼き台を用意しています。まるしげに500円お支払いし、トング、焼き網を受け取って焼き台を確保してください。スタッフが火の入った炭を焼き台まで運びます。場内で購入した商品であれば自由に焼いて食べることができます。

The story of Japan's most powerful market, which surprised the world.

Despite losing everything in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the Yuriage Port Morning Market reopened just 16 days later.

Their journey is a testament to local pride and international ties.

- Maple House of Bonds

  • Thanks to the tremendous support from the Canadian government and its people, the current permanent facility, "Maple Hall," has been completed.

  • Built from sturdy Canadian timber, this building symbolizes our connection to the world.

1976
- The beginning

  • The "Yuriage Port Morning Market" was born when fishermen and farmers lined up their surplus goods for personal use on the quay of Yuriage Fishing Port.

  • The spirit of mutual assistance among union members is the foundation of this place.

- Trials

  • The tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake completely swept away more than 50 shops and facilities.

  • Having lost many friends, a sense of despair enveloped the community, with many believing that "restarting is impossible."

- The Miracle of Day 16

  • Driven by a strong desire to provide warmth to those in evacuation centers, they reopened their business in the parking lot of Aeon Mall Natori just 16 days after the earthquake.

  • The reopening amidst the snowfall became a beacon of hope for the recovery of the entire region.

  • We are preparing to warmly welcome guests from all over the world by building a multilingual website specifically for inbound tourists and introducing cashless payment options.
