- Maple House of Bonds
Thanks to the tremendous support from the Canadian government and its people, the current permanent facility, "Maple Hall," has been completed.
Built from sturdy Canadian timber, this building symbolizes our connection to the world.
1976
- The beginning
The "Yuriage Port Morning Market" was born when fishermen and farmers lined up their surplus goods for personal use on the quay of Yuriage Fishing Port.
The spirit of mutual assistance among union members is the foundation of this place.

Rules for enjoying the morning market

How to enjoy robatayaki (fireside grilling)
There are two ways to enjoy robatayaki (Japanese-style grilled food): free and paid. A grill is attached to the store, so you can only grill and eat food purchased from that store. The store staff will teach you how to grill, making it recommended for beginners. (Participating stores: Tomita Fresh Fish, Marushige, Shinhikichi Shoten) A dedicated grill is available for paid customers. Pay 500 yen at Marushige, receive tongs and a grill net, and secure your grill. Staff will bring lit charcoal to your grill. You can freely grill and eat any food purchased within the venue.

About cashless payments
Credit cards and QR code payments are accepted at the Maple Hall counter. *Please note that some stores may only accept cash.

About the sushi-making experience
We offer a sushi-making experience every Saturday at 5 PM (reservations required). Please check the dedicated webpage for details.
How to enjoy auctions
Every Sunday from 10am, we hold an auction open to the public. Anyone who understands Japanese yen can participate.
